Hi Everyone!

Happy Monday! This weekend was packed with some awesome moments and seemed to fly by (always happens, doesn’t it?)

Some highlights include sippin’ majorly fancy cocktails at Wilson & Wilson, snacking on Josey Baker bread and Grilled Wagyu Bavette at Central Kitchen, celebrating Casey’s birthday with beers and burgers in Golden Gate Park, and celebrating STAND and the Thirst Project at SoulCycle! Earlier in the week, had the opportunity to dine at 18 Reasons (so amazing and more to share later!) and stop by La Mar for killer ceviche, empanadas and a pisco sour flight.

Pretty phenomenal weekend, I’d have to say. How was yours?

Small Touches. Big Difference

Hi Everyone!

A lot of exciting things have been going on during the last few weeks and I’m so excited to bring y’all a fun collaboration with Fab! Now, I’m sure you’ve seen the commercials (how could you not!) but if you’re still scratching your head on what Fab exactly is, well…I’m here to tell you.

Fab is your go-to spot for all things fun and useful. From decorative art to adorn your walls to stylish clutches for a night out on the town, Fab is your one stop shop for bringing personality to every corner of your life.

I live my life pretty colorfully, but some things can get pretty mundane. You know how it is, boring coffee mugs (or worse…coffee cups!) or plain and simple accessories. Luckily, when I was figuring out how to Upgrade My Everyday, I stuck with tried and true items.

When I found these specific items, I knew I’d be featuring these on a regular rotation. I wear black…a lot. SO, this clean and modern watch is the perfect contrast in any outfit. Besides, any time I can not look at my phone for the time is a opportunity I’ll take.

Next, I love accessories and purses, but I usually  go for crossbody bags. To switch things up a bit, I found this amazing tie-dye clutch from Katrin Reifeiss that adds a bit of personality and quirkiness to any outfit.

Another intense love of mine behind clothing is coffee. I usually can’t function (nor want to!) without a cup of coffee. At work, we have compostable cups or stark white mugs but being the girl that I am, I want something inspiring to sip out of! Thus, I found these amazing Yes & No stackable mugs and these cozy, cobalt blue mugs. Perfect for coffees or lattes.

So, while these items aren’t a major stretch they definitely add a bit more sparkle to my Monday through Friday. How would you Upgrade Your Everyday? Also, Fab is offering YOU a chance to win a$1000 shopping spree so you can do the same!

Have I piqued your interest? Check out more details and Upgrade Your Everyday here!

Note: This Fab contest ends on March 8, 2016. Winners will be chosen at random and announced on March 9, 2016. Fab will reach out directly to the winner via email to send $1,000 site credit.

Stripes & Dots

Sweatshirt & Shirt: LACSON RAVELLO | Jeans , Bag & Slip On’s: Old Navy

Hi Everyone!

Happy Wednesday! Since I set foot in San Francisco almost 5 years ago, I’ve never stopped exploring.

From exploring new cafes, new locations to shoot, new brunch spots – I have a crazy curiosity for this city because it always happens to surprise me. So, that being said, when a designer from the Bay Area asks me to hang out and check out her amazing designs – well, I couldn’t resist.

LACSON RAVELLO is a brand based out of the Bay Area and is known for distinct prints and signature details paired with clean, understated looks.

Their mentality to clothing is fashion that’s central to your lifestyle – boyish yet feminine, cool but not trendy, chic yet effortless.

If you know my fashion aesthetic by now, well you can imagine how aligned with this thought I am! I’m always gravitating toward mixing patterns, textures, and silhouettes. My own personal mantra? The baggier the better.

The brand just released their 2016 collection and well, it’s everything I could dream of and more. Their striped Marinière Tee was a total no brainer (I love stripes!!) and offers a bit of quirkiness with vertical stripe side panels. To combat the San Francisco chills, I paired it with patchwork jeans and a Cotier Hoodie. Again, oversized, fleece, and with a hood. YES.

If you’re lovin’ these, check out more of the 2016 Spring collection today!

Hi Everyone!

Happy Tuesday! Yes, Valentine’s Day was a few weeks ago, but that doesn’t mean we can’t prolong the love a little, right?

When Yes To asked me if I wanted to collaborate and throw a manis and mimosa party, well…I couldn’t resist. There’s few things I enjoy more in this world than manicures, mimosas, girlfriends and beauty products.

We rented a beautiful Breather in downtown SOMA and with the help of the fabulous Yes To team, we transformed the space into a rest and relaxation haven complete with Yes To products, delicious bites from Bob’s Donuts and healthy (?) mimosas with the help of Project Juice!

The event went off without a hitch and I had a blast spending quality time with some amazing ladies in the city I love.

Oh, and if you haven’t tried any Yes To products – well, I suggest you get your ass in shape and try it out! Their mud mask is OUT OF THIS WORLD. And made my skin feel and look flawless a la Beyonce.

Thank you to everyone who came, Project Juice and Blue Bottle for the delicious drinks, Breather for the beautiful and inspiring space, and Yes To to being an absolute skincare dream.

Hi Everyone!

Happy Monday! Yet again, San Francisco experienced beautiful weather that was made for lounging. This past weekend was all about adrenaline – I rode a motorcycle, went flying over the Bay and went go-karting! Not too shabby, right?

Short post today, but let’s welcome the beginning of the week with a bang! Oh, and a very special happy birthday to Ittai!

Weekend Style

Overalls: Target | Shirt & Bag: Old Navy (similar shirt here) | Shoes: Rothy’s | Hat: Cary Lane

Hi Everyone!

Happy Friday! Even though it was a short week, I’m SO grateful it’s the weekend because I can sleep (hopefully) in.

Other than hittin’ the snooze button for some quality zzzz’s I’m celebrating Ittai’s birthday this weekend and running since I just signed up for another 10 mile run! A sucker for pleasure or pain, I’m just not too sure.

Anyway, I hope you have a beautiful weekend friends!

On The Run – Must Haves

Hi Everyone!

If y’all know me, I run around like a mad woman on most days. From early morning workouts to coffee catch ups with my friends to after dinner happy hour and drinks, life can get a little chaotic. We all know how this goes.

Luckily, I carry a few things with me day in and day out to help ease the stress of everyday life. First up is a sturdy bag that’s versatile and can go with almost anything. My favorite is a massive tote from Old Navy that’s reversible. Yesssss!

Second, I always love having music close so my iPhone and headphones are with me constantly. Rockin’ out to St. Paul and the Broken Bones just feels (and looks!) better when you have stylish headphones. Am I right?

Along with music, I always make sure to carry a book or some sort of reading material. When it comes to commuting, I fight the boredom blues with #GIRLBOSS or reading on my phone.

Lastly, my ultimate must-haves are of the beauty category. Some fragrance and deodorant when I’m a bit uh, stinky from the craziness of the day and my Vaseline Lip Therapy. It’s been so chilly in San Francisco as of late, so I love using my Vaseline to help soothe my lips and cuticles (seriously! It works!). From the original to aloe to rosy lips, I love stashing a few in my bag when I’m feeling a chap coming on. Quite literally.

Looking for some on-the-go essentials like the Vaseline Lip Therapy tins? Don’t fret. Stop by your local Target and snag a few! And if you’re like me, you’ll be picking up 15 other things while you’re there. If you have self control (i’m impressed, if so), you can also go to Target.com and pick ’em up there!
