Hi Y’all,

Quick post today, but there’s something about this outfit that makes me feel like I’m wearing a “mullfit” – you know those outfits. The ones that are all business on the top and a party on the bottom. And yes, I believe I just made up that term.

I seriously couldn’t believe this outfit worked as I bought the two pieces at very different times. I love that the pants feel like elevated pajama pants. High-waisted, floral, flared. They just work. And well, to make the entire outfit a bit less, uh, overwhelming, I paired it with a simple blush blouse.

Not too shabby, eh?

Also, if you’re not doing anything tomorrow, head on over to Wallflower Vintage in San Francisco from 6-9 p.m. PST! I’ll be hangin’ with Bryn styling some vintage finds, drinking a bit (it is a Thursday, you know), and listening to good tunes.

Cheers!

Hi Everyone!

Happy Tuesday! Hope you’re having a rad week so far – mine’s been!

A little rundown on the weekend’s events:

  • A little morning stroll before the city wakes up to say hi to my (painted) ladies.
  • Multiple brunches, beers, and hangouts with the babely Courtney!
  • Nommed hard on the Veggie Rancheros at El Techo de Lolinda.
  • Checked out Seed & Salt and 20th Century Cafe.
  • Folsom Street Fair – I try to go every year…it’s an eyeful. Obviously.
  • Checkin’ out the Super Moon! I didn’t see it, but stayed for the sunset which was equally as awesome.
  • Played dress-up with Bryn at Wallflower Vintage! If you haven’t heard, we’re throwing a party THIS Thursday from 6-9 at Wallflower. More details here!

Cheers!

Hi Everyone!

Happy Monday! Hope the weekend was filled with groovy times and people! Speaking of groovy, my babely, blogger boo Bryn, (how’s that for alliteration!?) of Stone Fox Style, and I will be hosting an awesome event THIS Thursday at Wallflower Boutique in the Mission.

We’ll be dishing style advice, encouraging booze to be consumed (naturally), and raising hell. Sounds like a fun time, right?

Well, you should come! Bring friends and your love for vintage because Wallflower knocks it out of the park. And if that doesn’t sound amazing already, Wallflower is giving everyone who comes 20% OFF apparel, hats, belts and vintage jewelry from 6 – 9 p.m.!! HOLLA!

Want a bit more info? You can get the full scoop here!

Cheers!

Hi Everyone!

If you couldn’t tell already, ever since moving to San Francisco I’ve gravitated toward a certain genre of clothing – bohemian.

I love paisley patterns and clothing that have an effortless vibe to them. More often than not, these pieces are all inspired by looks back in the 60’s and 70’s.

I’m super excited to share that my fellow blogger babe Bryn of Stone Fox Style and I are hosting an Indian Summer Shindig next Thursday, October 1st from 6-9 at Wallflower in the Mission!

If you haven’t heard of Wallflower, well, you better study up. Tucked away on Valencia, Wallflower is home to some amazing vintage clothing, accessories, and other vintage treasures.

Bryn and I looked through the store to find some of our favorite pieces and when I saw these jeans from Rollas, I couldn’t help but try them on. I’m not normally a flares person, but flares AND a high-waist? I was definitely skeptical, but once I tried them on I fell in love. And wouldn’t take them off. Seriously.

To add a bit more of a “Dazed and Confused” element to the outfit, I snagged this tee from Sugarhigh Lovestoned. Cheeky, eh?

So come hang with me and Bryn, indulge in some tasty libations, and check out the amazing vintage pieces at Wallflower! Even better, Wallflower is giving 20% off all apparel, hats, belts, and vintage jewelry from 6 – 9 p.m.

Pretty rad, right?

Cheers!

Pants: Uniqlo | Blouse & Jacket: RACHEL by Rachel Roy

Hi all,

Happy Thursday! Let’s just say my week has been a little nutty. I’ll tell you all this while the time is right, but any excuse to find a time to snap a few outfit shots – well, hell. I’ll take it.

Luckily, my friend and fellow blogger babe Bryn and I are planning something super exciting next week so we had the opportunity to hang last night! More details to come about the shindig.

We stepped outside and saw the lighting was just right. It’s almost a crime to pass up an opportunity like that. Right? I’ve always said in blogging I’ll be nothing but authentic and transparent. So, here we are. 🙂

Cheers!

To be honest, getting out of San Francisco is tough. Literally and figuratively, I suppose. Finding a car can be (okay, so I’m lazy!) challenging and well, leaving the city for a day can give me bouts of FOMO.

That being said, when you DO actually get out of the city – hell, it’s kind of nice! I headed to Redwood City and Mountain View last week to grab a bite to eat before seeing the Foo Fighters. You guys, Redwood City is hoppin’. Seriously.

Scott and I stopped by Vesta, had a rad Hawaiian pizza and a few beers! So delicious and affordable. And along with Vesta, RWC has a ton of other restaurants and cafes.

And while I probably won’t be moving down there any time soon, it’s great to escape – even if it’s just for a night.

Cheers!

Hi Everyone!

Happy Tuesday! I hope y’all are having a good day. A few weeks ago I was in Ohio to celebrate my cousin and Andi’s wedding! Being home was just what I needed. It was great to relax and catch up with my family and old friends!

Even better was that I was able to meet some new ones too. I’ve followed Andrew’s photography for awhile and when I found out I was going to be in town, I reached out on Instagram. I knew his girlfriend Emily from high school and so excited to reconnect and catch up!

About 5 minutes from my hometown is Kent State University! In the past few years they have totally built up the campus, making it a great place to go for a drink or bite to eat.

We headed to downtown Kent on Memorial Day Weekend – the perfect opportunity to explore and enjoy the town before all the collegiate craziness.

It was a beautiful afternoon and I’m so lucky I was able to spend time with Andrew and Emily! If you haven’t checked out Andrew’s photography, he’s wildly talented.

Cheers!
