Happy Monday! Hope you had a lovely, lovely weekend. If you couldn’t tell from my Instagram photos, I spent the weekend in Yosemite. A last minute opportunity was presented and well, I couldn’t say no. There will DEFINITELY be a lot more nature porn coming to you tomorrow, but for today I wanted to share some awesome things that happened during the week (and a taste of Yosemite).
Tuesday I was able to snag tickets to the Giants game thanks to my lovely friend Cait! And even though the Giants didn’t win, it was great to hang at AT&T Park, drink a beer, and pretend to know what the hell was going on. #Sports!
Wednesday I stopped by the beautiful Modern Citizen showroom and ogled over all the beautiful pieces of clothing and sipped some majorly tasty Kampala Wine. Seriously, I will have that DAMN trench vest some day.
And then Friday headed to Yosemite with a few pals who just radiate positivity and good energy. Thank you Issac, Amy, Ashley, and Daina for a brilliant time! ❤
I’m feelin’ very refreshed and ready to tackle this week. Oh yeah! And i’ll be headed to Ohio (first time in 9 months!) for my cousin and ANDI’s wedding. A lot of excitement coming up.
Happy Friday! It’s been a beautiful week in San Francisco weather wise. With the temps hitting 80 degrees there’s no excuse to not dine al fresco at one of the many amazing restaurants this city has to offer.
Lately, i’ve been taking a look back and reflecting. Can you tell from my sporadic blog posts? First and foremost, I want to surround myself with people that are inspiring, excited about life, and supportive. When I was invited to check out Modern Citizen’s beautiful showroom this past Wednesday I couldn’t say no.
Modern Citizen is one of those brands that just gets it. Their mission is simple and their approach to clothing makes total sense for every woman who’s navigating her way in the world.
The secret to a well-built wardrobe is versatility. Real, beautiful clothes you can live and work in.
And in the end, isn’t that what we want? Modern Citizen’s showroom is bright, airy, and modern. Just like their aesthetic. The amazing Lauren Barnard of Kampala Wines poured delicious varietals all evening, making the evening ten times brighter. If you don’t know, Kampala’s take on quality is very much like Modern Citizen’s. Bringing a beautiful product into the market that’s quality with a story.
Kampala Wines was born with the vision of bringing natural wines into the mainstream as the new wine drinking norm. Lauren mentioned to me that a lot of the wine I drink (and we in general!) is full of harmful chemicals and additives. Woof. My favorite from the wines we sipped on Wednesday? The Chardonnay!
If you haven’t taken a look at Modern Citizen or Kampla Wines, I highly recommend you do. You’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Happy Wednesday! Often times I live in similar weekday uniform. It’s easy, right? It saves you a few moments when getting ready in the morning and didn’t I hear that some of the smartest people in the world (Bill Gates) used to wear the same. thing. every. day.
While i’m not saying i’m Bill Gates, I am saying it’s pretty easy. And comfortable. Annnnnnd it doesn’t look half bad.
What’s your week day uniform?

Happy Monday! Are you hanging in there? After a challenging week, I needed to let loose this weekend. So naturally, I went out and explored. Saturday morning called for a long run in Golden Gate Park to prep for Sunday’s surf session. It was my first time surfing and to be quite honest, I was nervous as all hell. I have zero balance for the record.
We headed out early Sunday to Pacifica, a beautiful beach town 20 minutes away from the city. Oddly enough, getting a wetsuit on was probably the most challenging. I swallowed A LOT of salt water but managed to actually get up on my board and ride a wave!
Afterwards, we brunched at Marla Bakery to eat the most amazing Pecan Sticky Bun I HAVE EVER HAD and then headed to Fort Funston to take in the pretty killer weather SF is having. It was a great way to unwind and well, I can’t wait to go surfing again soon.
HAPPY FRIDAY! So, here it is guys. My final Outside Lands post. I know, I know. You’re sad, right? Anyway, this is a mashup from Saturday and Sunday. Saturday had too many great artists that instead of snapping a lot of photos, I was dancin’ around to Toro Y Moi beer in hand (evidence above).
After looking at some of the photos, i’m still amazed by how many people truly went to the festival. I think they’re saving a few hundred thousand which blows. my. mind.
Some favorites? Of course there’s Toro Y Moi. He always puts on such a killer show. Odesza, Mac Sabbath (TRUST ME ON THIS ONE!), and St. Paul and the Broken Bones.
If you haven’t checked them out, do so! Oh, and the food & drank was pretty on point, too. Poke bowls, IPA’s, cheeseburgers, and more. Nom.
Have an amazing weekend!

Happy Thursday! Sorry for not posting yesterday there’s a lot going on (will divulge when the time’s right!) Anyway, it’s been a few weeks since OSL and there still are a few more posts about to be comin’ through. I shared with y’all my outfit for Sunday, but what about Friday? Since it’s the first day of the festival, you want to make a statement but be comfortable.
For Friday, I opted for a loose dress, chucks (naturally), and a large denim jacket from (you guessed it!) Crossroads Trading. It was perfect for navigating each stage, dancing to Robert Delong (so good!), and shoving my gullet with Heineken.

I gotta ask the age old question. Sweet or savory? Regardless of your answer, it’s a tough decision no doubt. Admittedly, I tend to go for the savory side of things but when I’m looking for a sweet treat, I gravitate toward small things that pack a big punch.
Luckily, macaroons are having a moment (actually, a decade more like) and I was able to try the delectable macaroons from MacarOn Cafe. Included in the assortment? Dark chocolate, nutella, coconut, pistachio, apricot, and vanilla. I’m a BIG fan of coconut (woo!) so it was a perfect way to satisfy my cravings.
I’d highly recommend checking the tasty devils and yes, I do feel a bit Parisian eating them!
