Pants: Floral Fade Ankle Tights | Top: Fuse Tee | Shoes: Nike
Happy Thursday! As many of you know, I recently completed my first (ahh!) half-marathon. I’m not a runner really, but I wanted to set myself to a reasonable goal and see if I could kick its ass. Well, I did. And I felt great afterwards. A lot of prep went into my half-marathon training: the perfect playlist, an arm band that could hold my iPhone, setting a running pace, staying hydrated, and of course – what the hell do I wear?
I opted for some killer leggings and a tank for the race, but what if you aren’t a runner and guffaw at the very mention of running. Wellll….some big news, y’all!
I’m hosting my very first (ah!!) event with Athleta on Fillmore on Saturday, March 7th at 8:30 a.m. I’m teaming up with Athleta, the amazing Tricia Kirkwood of Sunshine Fitness, and Shikha Kaiwar of Shikhalamode to bring you guys a morning of food, fun, and pilates.
Tricia (who was named most enthusiastic instructor in SF by ClassPass!) will be teaching DetoxFIT, an hour class of Pilates, Yoga, and Barre exercises that help detox the body after a vigorous run or a week of indulgence.
I mean, who wouldn’t want that? And it’s free!

More pictures from my Seattle adventure over the weekend!
It was only cloudy on Friday, but that didn’t matter to me. It was a nice break from the sunny San Francisco weather and truly understand what it means to layer and bundle up.
Had a beautiful weekend and now i’m contemplating what my next Pacific Northwest stop may be!
I just got back into San Francisco from a long weekend in Seattle and I have to admit that the more and more that I explore the Pacific Northwest, the more I can’t imagine living anywhere else.
Rather fitting, my best friend Emily and I flew in on Kurt Cobain’s birthday. We spent most of the weekend catching up over brunch, exploring a Seattle speakeasy or two, and walking. A lot.
It’s great a tradition Emily and I have. After trying brunch at Oddfellows, sippin’ cocktails at Bathtub Gin, saying hi to the Space Needle and walking into Some Random Bar, I can picture myself happy as a clam living in Seattle.
Thank you for everyone who mentioned suggestions. They were welcomed with open arms and very much appreciated!
Until tomorrow…there’s more Seattle to go around.
Dress: Club Monaco via Style Lend | Jacket: Bar III (similar one here) | Shoes: Forever 21 | Bag: JCrew
Happy Thursday. Tonight i’m headed to Seattle (my first time!) and can’t be more excited. So, that means if you have suggestions of bars, brunch spots (let’s be real here) and fun little insider tips, they are very welcomed!
Anyway, I know I mentioned this last week but i’m kind of in love with this dress from Style Lend. The great thing about Style Lend is that it allows you to rent beautiful designer dresses on a sample sale budget. Often times I need a dress for a special occasion, conference, dinner, you name it and look into my closet without any luck. Obviously jeans and a sweater don’t work, so this is where Style Lend comes in.
I searched their website and found this beauty from Club Monaco. I think it’s a little girly, a little fun with the abstract pattern and when I add a leather jacket it roughs up the look a bit.
What do y’all think?
Definitely suggest you guys checking out StyleLend! If you’re in the SF area, the Style Lend team is having a style soiree full of fashion and champagne, naturally. Get more info here.

Apologize for the delay yesterday, y’all. It was one of those days where work was piling up and well, unfortunately work takes priority.
Again, this past weekend was phenomenal! So, so nice in San Francisco and filled with a lot of exploring. It’s crazy to wander around the city and always be surprised by the landscapes. And when I say surprised, I mean the naked section of Baker Beach. Welp.
I’ll be posting about this later, but had the amazing opportunity to meet up with the lovely ladies last Thursday for our annual San Francisco Food and Fashion group! We had an amazing set up at 398 Restaurant & Bar filled with wine and copious amounts of cheese. Just my style.
Hope you had a killer weekend and an even better President’s Day! For me, i’m working but that doesn’t matter since San Francisco was blessed with 71 degree weather.
My thoughts are with you East Coast and Midwest! This week/end was great! Filled with a lot of activities, friend time, and outdoor exploring.
On Friday I had a maaaajor throwback and went to Motion City Soundtrack’s 10th Anniversary tour (makes me feel waaaay old). It was so fun to dance with my partner-in-crime Shikha and channel our high school selves.
Saturday was spent gettin’ on the ClassPass bandwagon again (so amazing!). In the past two days i’ve done a barre class, yoga class, and am going to do a spin class tonight. I think i’m definitely a ClassPass believer.
Since it was Valentine’s Day, I celebrated in the best way I know how – a lot of beer and BBQ. Rounded off Sunday with an amazing bike ride to Baker Beach (even went to the nude part!) and dinner with my roommates. It was perfect.
More weekend snaps to come tomorrow!
