Thankful

Hi Everyone!

This day fills me with so much gratitude. Maybe it’s the day off of other distractions like work to really reflect on things and take a look back at what means the most to you.

I often do thankful lists because I think it’s a great way to remind myself about how amazing I have it. I really can’t say enough about this holiday — it’s my favorite.

BUT, i’ll definitely try so here it goes.

  • Being challenged both personally and professionally — and coming out more wise and better.
  • Friends and family who inspire me every day
  • Pushing myself to run my first half-marathon!
  • My apartment’s 4th annual Friendsgiving
  • Upcoming trips to Ohio, Seattle and potentially Europe!

So, so many more things.

Thank you to everyone who keeps readin’ my nonsense and being supportive!

Cheers!

Hi all!

We’re two days away until Thanksgiving and like I mentioned last week, I just can’t get enough of this dress. Just enough for a Friendsgiving full of food, wine, and friends. Right?

Cheers!

Hi there!

Hope everyone had a sensational weekend. My free time was spent in a few odd ways, but all very enjoyable. Friday evening I headed over to Oakland to check out this band Delhi2Dublin. Usually i’m a picky concert goer, but I had more fun at this concert than any I can remember. So hilarious. So awkward. So fun.

Saturday, I pretended to be a Berkeley alum and cheer on Cal at the Cal/Stanford game. *Go Bears!* Great time, realized I miss being in college and in turn, how green and white (Ohio University’s colors) are just more flatting for my skin tone.

Went to Zazie for brunch, biked throughout Golden Gate Park and watched the sunset with my gal pal Courtney.

Such a fun weekend and can’t wait for more adventures this week!

Cheers!

Hi all!

Since we’re a week away from my favorite holiday, I thought i’d throw a few things out there. My roommates and I usually throw a Friendsgiving every year and often times I wonder on what I should wear. This takes up almost as much time as it does waiting in line at the Honeybaked Ham store only to find that I didn’t have a reservation and ended up buying a $70 ham that feeds a small colony.

That being said, I love Thanksgiving. It’s a time to be surrounded by friends, family, and loved ones. Truly one of my favorite things. I mean, everyone is grateful for something, right?

Anyway, back to the dress code. Since I have a fairly small apartment, friends find themselves gathering in the living room. This gets unusually warm, a bit sweaty and fairly goofy after several bottles of wine have been consumed.

I feel like pants are too casual for a Friendsgiving, so when I found this dress from Crossroads Trading — I knew it was too good to be true. Legitimately, everything about this dress is ballin’. It looks expensive, great color, some poof, abstract and interesting, and it was so inexpensive. Crossroads, you know I love you but damn…I really love you.

What are y’all wearing for the holidays?

Cheers!

Hi all,

Happy Tuesday! Yesterday was a bit nutty and often times, Tuesday is the day for me that falls by the outfit wayside. You know, I tend to gravitate towards pants, chunky knits, and flats.

Luckily, this whole “shit, wearing PJ’s is cool” trend is back and i’ll definitely take advantage while I can. I found these pants a long, long time ago at H&M and never could find my size. So, you can imagine my happiness when I walked into Crossroads and found these babies. On sale. In my size.

Divine intervention? Uhm, no doubt.

Anyway, I love the casual feel of this outfit and swapped sandals for heels to go out in the evening. Add a killer necklace from CURIIOS and you’re set with some s-w-a-g.

Let’s just say, i’m BANANAS for pajamas. Get it? Please tell me you get my Mashup Millennial reference.

Cheers!

Hi there!

Hope y’all had a good weekend. Per usual, the weekend went pretty smoothly and I seriously think it’s one of the best few days in awhile.

Friday was spent in Mountain View at Polyvore for a meet-up that killed all other meet-ups. The day consisted of chatting about Polyvore, the future of the platform and everything in between.

Saturday, my good friend Sarah and I headed to check out Alicia Lund’s Syllabus pop-up shop in Hayes Valley. Can I just say she’s a badass? The pop-up was filled with phenomenally curated pieces by Lund and complimentary cocktails by Cointreau. Later, I stopped by and tried on a ton of dresses with Style Lend and a blogger Friendsgiving! So fun!

Sunday I spent the day with my two best gals Court and Shikha and trekked to Alamare Falls, which is quickly becoming my favorite spot in the Bay Area. I mean, seriously. Breathtaking views, a fairly strenuous hike, and awesome people you meet along the trail. Makes me fall in love with California all over again.

Cheers!
