Happy Monday! I hope you’re having a great morning so far. This weekend, we had Pride in San Francisco. It was a colorful day full of glitter, celebration and some nudity (not on my end, y’all).
I also prolonged my birthday celebrations with a trip to Ragazza (a must go…their Bianca pizza is delicious!) and did a walking food tour in North Beach thanks to my friend Sarah.
All around amazing time spent with friends. I’m anxiously awaiting this weekend as i’ll be celebrating the 4th in Tahoe! What will y’all be doing?
Happy Fridaaay! This will be my outfit for the weekend, no doubt. Slouchy pants, comfy t-shirt and the best sandals in the world. Y’all feel me?
Shirt: Zara (love this one!) | Shorts: H&M (similar here) | Sandals: Sam Edelman | Jacket: LOFT
Happy Thursday! I’ve been thinking a lot about blogging lately and it’s hard not to compare yourself to other bloggers. Or to be honest, anyone in general. It’s natural, right? You’re not posting enough, your content isn’t up to par, you’ve re-worn XYZ piece of clothing 5 times, you don’t have enough followers, etc.
It’s easy to fall into this trap. While I admittedly have done this quite a few times before, I have to tell myself to step back and actually enjoy the moment, take things for what they are worth and enjoy what you have.
I have always loved this quote and repeat it fairly often to myself whenever i’m feeling out of sorts or too goofy. “There is a certain happiness in being silly and ridiculous.”
It’s so true, right? Living in the moment is something I can say we all struggle with every now and then, but it’s so important to.
So enjoy today and be a little bit more silly today, because why the hell not?
Jacket: Bar III | Sweater: F21 (closest I could find, ya’ll!) | Skirt: H&M (similar here) | Shoes: Sam Edelman
Happy Wednesday, y’all. As you guys know, i’m a fan of the baggy. I can’t help it. There’s something awesome and so appealing about wearing a shirt that literally drowns you. Or maybe that’s just me. Anyway, when I saw this fuzzy sweater…I couldn’t resist. No worries that it was a Medium and I usually go for a Small. To hell with the comparison to Cookie Monster that you best believe I received when I wore this bad boy.
I love it and you would love it too if you felt how soft and comfy it was. I also just can’t get enough of these damn Sam Edelman sandals. I swear, invest in them. You will never take them off. Trust me.
Dress: Zara | Jacket: F21 | Shoes: Talbot’s
So, as many of your probably already know..i’m not the most “sporty” person around. Sure, I like a good competitive game (insert sport here), but I just am never going to be one of those people who know players names, positions, etc.
I mean, I did play field hockey but that’s all you’re going to get from me. With this in mind and seeing as how the World Cup is underway, I thought i’d do my best at bein’ sporty. I love that there’s this weird combination of lace and faux-letterman’s jacket.
Definitely an interesting look that i’m still a little unsure about, but I love mixing it up and tryin’ out new thangs. What do y’all think?
Hanging with the lovely Tory in Hayes Valley!
A flowery surprise from someone special.
This is Duke. It was Duke’s birthday. And I was overcome with happiness even if he didn’t look so pleased.
His & Hers.
Happy Monday! So, I took the day off of work for my birthday for a personal “me” day and celebrate I will! This past weekend was a blast! Filled with lots of friends, food and walking. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
We picked our way through Off The Grid, discovered new bars like The Interval, went to a Succulent Festival (only in San Francisco, I tell you!) and drank our way through the Mission and celebrated my 25th with California Blondes (the beer, y’all) at Southern Pacific.
Pretty damn good birthday indeed. Thanks for all the birthday wishes, guys. You know how to make a gal feel especially loved.
Also, a quick shoutout to my friend’s band Mild Meddle, who are in their final week on Kickstarter! Please go out and support!
Romper: Club Monaco | Shirt: F21 | Sandals: Zara (obsessed with these!) | Jacket: Bar III (diggin this white version!)
Happy Thursday! Hope all is goin’ well in your neck of the woods. So, I can’t get enough of this Club Monaco romper. It’s black, versatile and definitely can go for any occasion. I even plan on wearing it this weekend to my birthday happy hour!
I wanted to toughen it up by wear my jacket from Bar III, Zara flats and Forever 21 checkered shirt. Super easy, just wish going to the bathroom was easier in a romper.
A girl can dream, right?
