Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you’re spending the day with family, loved ones, friends, you name it. And of course, with good food. Now is a time more than ever to be thankful for what you have. It’s so easy to be thinking about the next need, want, activity, meeting, etc. I think often we get so caught up in the day to day, we start to lose ourselves and what we really love or love to do.
Of course, i’m not perfect. I have many faults, but I want to encourage you (and myself!) to do more of what makes you happy. Whatever that may be – go for it, why not?
That being said, I wrote down a little list of what makes me happy (aka- Thankful Thursday a la Andi):
-The feeling of support from my friends and family
-Genuine laughs that make your stomach hurt
-Having a long conversation with a complete and total stranger
-Finding a new band or genre of music
-My cozy apartment
-Stability and those who appreciate it as well
-Fresh laundry (when it comes out the dryer, it’s the best!)
-Seeing friends truly and 100% happy (whether it’s in a relationship or excelling at work, seeing them happy puts me in the best mood)
-A good meal (this Thanksgiving i’ll be going HAM – but literally, i’ll be eating a Honey Baked Ham)
-Health and my mom feeling healthy once more!
