Hope all is well! So, it’s Labor Day Weekend and I know what I want to do. REST n’ RELAX. So, with that being said i’m going to make a list (so I hold myself accountable) of things I want/should/must do this weekend:
- Sleep In (until…9 a.m.)
- Ikea (maybe not as relaxing, but a early morning a.m. trip with the roomies is necessary)
- Run (still “training” for that 10K!)
- Read (wanting to re-read The Happiness Project)
- Laundry (have I officially become an adult?)
- Grocery Shopping (attempting gluten free for one week with Scotty!)
- Celebrate! (just landed a new job and can’t wait to start!)
Also, per the picture above, I NEED overall shorts. What are ya’ll getting into this weekend?
Have a great weekend!
Jacket: Gap | Denim Shirt: F21 | Pants: H&M | Shoes: Sam and Libby (loving this version!)
Watch: Kohl’s | Bracelet: Banana Republic | Rings: H&M
Happy Thursday! So I took an impromptu trip with the boy to Mount Tam yesterday. Beautiful weather where you feel like you’re floating and the clouds sweep the landscape like waves in the ocean. Absolutely perfect.
Comfortable, casual and of course, throwin’ on a turband for good times sake. Thank gawd for denim shirts a la Forever 21 and military green jackets to protect me from the San Francisco chills.
As far as the photos, he takes pretty good ones, eh?

Jacket: F21 (obsessing over this quilted one!) | Shirt: Gap (loving these long sleeved versions!) | Skort: Zara | Shoes: Zara | Necklace: Unknown
Happy Wednesday! So, as you can guess…i’ve boarded the skort train. Hence my HILARIOUS title for today’s post. SKORTING THE ISSUE. Hah, get it? Because i’m wearing a skort that’s like a skirt. But is shorts. Well, at least I think it’s funny.
I decided that when I love something as much as I do with this Zara skort, I buy several of the same thing varying in color. Thankfully my roommate Andi has the black version (seen here), but I had to buy the white because not only I look like i’m channeling Wilma Flintstone but also like i’m ready to kick Andy Roddick’s ass on the court.
I also snagged these Zara sandals awhile back, but I can’t help but wear them at least twice a week. So comfortable and stylish. I also think they could be considered a lethal weapon. I mean, did you see that point?
Alright, make today awesome!

Would you look at those ends?! o_o
Annnnd…laughing at my attempts to be sassy.
Happy Tuesday! Alright, ya’ll. I’m going to admit something. I love men’s fashion. Honestly. I find myself all the time wandering over to the men’s section at stores just seeing what they have offered. I’m a sucker for plaid, bagginess (not frumpy, mind you!) and dark colors.
So, when I moseyed on over to the men’s section of Forever 21 and saw this sweater that reminded me of a past Dries Van Noten collection, I couldn’t help myself.
Add a beanie (still the beginning of the week, everyone), Andi’s skort that I can’t get enough of (SO comfy) and a pair of comfy heels and well, i’d say we’re striding well into a great week.
So, I have to ask…what’s your favorite men’s (or men’s inspired) piece?

Starting off the weekend with brunch at Sweet Maple — a Pac Heights fave!
Being a tourist in my own city.
HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEKEND.
Colin came to visit!
Sailing around the Bay!
Forgot to mention it was a pirate party. Arghh!
Was featured on Bar III’s twitter as a post of the day! Exciting!
Hope you had an amazing weekend! It’s been a busy (but as always, fun!) one in my book! I had my very best friend from high school visiting San Francisco so I was able to play a tourist in my own city! Brunched at Sweet Maple, toured around the Bay, celebrated the Giants win on Sunday (finally!) and had a drink at Top of the Mark.
Pretty fantastic, eh? How was your weekend!
Happy Friday! I hope you’re doing well! As it gets a little cooler (in San Francisco’s case, it’s always cold) I love transitioning my pieces from each season. It seems natural to do, evolving your wardrobe without completely putting it away for at least a few months, right? In this case, this dress feels very summery to me, but when you add a leather jacket, studded Converse and a felt hat, it just oozes cozy to me.
Have a great weekend & don’t forget to follow me on Twitter & Instagram for some weekend snapshots!
Vest: ON (similar here)| Shirt: Target | Skirt: F21 (also loving this)| Shoes: Jeffrey Campbell (dying over these DVF versions)
Happy Thursday! Hope all is well over on your end! One thing I really can’t get enough of is denim. Denim shirts, pants, skirts — you name it, i’m into it. While I always have a hard time finding jeans that fit properly, I can always count on a denim button up to do me a solid.
I found this one from Target awhile back and it has become a favorite in my closet. Just worn enough that it’s soft, fading after all the wears and washes (adds character, right?) I may consider investing in another. Thoughts?
Anyway, pair it with a lovely and oh so charming white lace skirt, military vest and of course, my neutral — leopard.
