I thought these chairs were adorable!

Another debut with Lone Star at The Salt Lick
An Austin staple
A great follow up to the previous picture. But seriously, ribs…I love you so much.

Austin, i’m seeing a theme with your signs.
I hope all is well and you’ve been having a great week! A few snapshots from my week in Austin (more to come as well!) and all the fun happenings that i’ve been discovering.
Great city and can’t wait to ride out the end of the week enjoying all Austin has to offer! Sorry for the short post, but I promise when I get back to San Francisco, they will be a bit longer!
Happy Thursday! Taking a page from my friend Andi who introduced me to Thankful Thursday’s, what are you thankful for? Today i’m thankful for everything but most importantly support, love and encouragement from all my friends, family and co-workers. I feel truly lucky to have the support system I have both in San Francisco, Ohio and throughout.
When in Austin, do as the Texans do.
I’m going to call these lace shorts bloomers. But in actuality, I look like i’m wearing a diaper.
My obsession with arrows continues…
Lucy’s Fried Chicken is out of this world!
Lusting after this typewriter…
Popping in to say a quick hello and happy Tuesday! It’s been a blast in Austin thus far and i’ve been taking full advantage of the nice weather and great culture! Fried Chicken at Lucy’s, Lone Star on the regular (it’s no PBR, but it’ll do) and discovering new and fun places on South Congress Street like Uncommon Objects that my friend Andi told me to check out while i’m here.
Additionally, some exciting news to share with ya’ll (TRYING TO EMBRACE THE LONESTAR STATE, GUYS)! I snagged a ticket to attend Lucky Magazine’s LuckyFABB Conference next week in Los Angeles. It was a very spontaneous decision to go, so I’m looking forward to meeting tons of new bloggers, checking out some VERY helpful speaking sessions that will improve my blogging and experiencing my first blogging event! If anyone is going, please let me know as I would LOVE to meet up and say hello!
Have a great day!
Seeing some old college favorites in Austin. Also, I know I look a little prego. I promise it was just the wind.
My colleague’s dog, Caleb. I nearly died — so adorable!
Spending a relaxing Sunday basking in the warmth!
I see you, GG.
Happy Monday! Hope you all had a killer weekend! I landed safely in Austin on Saturday and have been living it up for the last two days. Beautiful weather, some BBQ and quality bonding thrown in mix.
After college, a lot of my close friends scattered throughout the Untied States with some in San Francisco, a lot in New York, some in Chicago and a few in Austin. Luckily, I was able to catch up with some on Sunday with brunch and $1 mimosas. I almost fell over in disbelief and happily downed a few.
Also, my company bought bikes for us to travel around in so I promise to have some goofy photos to post during the week!
Hope all is well! Last night I went to the Vena Cava & Refinery29 S.F. Host Rand + Statler’s Anniversary Party in Hayes Valley. Super fun with delicious cupcakes, drinks and photobooth fun in celebrating Rand + Statler’s 2nd birthday! Congrats guys!
To spice up the weekly routine, I decided to break out the sequined skirt and leopard loafers for a fun twist on a typical night-time piece. I am always inspired by Jenna Lyons, J.Crew’s President and Creative Director on her quirky styles and combinations. Honest, how badass is she?
Tomorrow I head out to Austin for the week and simply cannot wait to share my Texas adventures with you that will inevitably end up in an exorbitant amount of breakfast tacos, BBQ and hopefully a nice tan.
Have a great weekend, ya’ll!

Ya’ll, this caption says it all.
Mantra for lyfe
The bro-iest of them all!
Happy Thursday! I hope you’re all having a grand day. Work has been a little nutso for the several weeks due to the launch of a company we are representing. They launched yesterday, so I needed to be comfy while running all over like a chicken with its head cut off.
And in that case, I’ll wear one of my most favorite sweatshirts that I won’t publicly come out and say that I wore to bed the night before, buttttt…
ANYWAY, how cool is this damn sweatshirt? “Drink Beer and Make Stuff.” That’s all you need to know. I scored this pup at a street fair with local San Francisco vendors in Nopa. Also, I fully realize i’m becoming more and more San Franciscan. Street fair, SF vendors? What’s next, only getting organic?!
Oh, and if any of you were wondering, the Mr. Marina Competition was HILARIOUS and super fun. I’m a little bummed out that I didn’t receive any solid chest bumps and Natural Light wasn’t flying everywhere (It was Peroni guys. SO MUCH CLASSIER) but hey, i’ll just wait until the Mr. Mission Competition where I will be ensured that i’ll get a tall boy of PBR (HOLLA!) and find someone to take my fixed gear bike I’m trying to sell. Fingers crossed.
Anyway, have an amazing day and just as an FYI the posts may be a little lighter in the next several days as I’ll be traveling to Austin for work!

Actin’ a fool!
This is my, “Oh! Who me?” look. IT’S WORKING.
HAPPY HUMPDAAAAAYYYYY! So I feel like this outfit isn’t really “me.” And I know that sounds weird because you’re probably going, “Well Aimee, you ARE the one who is wearing it so it has to be ‘you’ somehow.” Anyway, sometimes I like to get out of my comfort zone and throw something on like this. Super comfortable, flowy and I mean…you can’t go wrong with jeans. AMIRITE?
Also, today is the first day of Spring so i’m sure my family in Ohio is loving that. I feel like sometimes we get cheated in San Francisco because we rarely have those 80 degree days but then I think back to not only how frizzy my hair got in the humidity (scurry) but also how sticky it was? Woof. I’ll take SF weather any day.
Speaking of hot, i’m going to the Mr. Marina Competition tonight in San Francisco. For those of you who don’t know, the Mr. Marina Competition is held annually and is the who’s who of bros in the Marina. May the bro-iest win them all. I expect several chest bumps and OAR to be playing.

Love this necklace I borrowed from Andi. So modern and fun.
These two-toned shoes were a birthday gift to myself awhile back! (These from H&M ones are similar and WAY badass)
So, I don’t know about you guys but when I buy an outfit or piece of clothing, I can’t wait and wear it two weeks later. I’m more of an instant gratification kind of girl so naturally, I broke this monochromatic outfit the day after I bought it.
This bright of a color combination just couldn’t make me happier. Pairing this sporty/mesh skirt with a pair of heels instantly dresses up the outfit, eh? I’ve also recently gotten into the sporty items after seeing this feature from Fashion Magazine. That neon wind breaker is killin’ me.
And as a dedicated heel lover, I couldn’t help but snatch up these amazing two-toned heels last June for my birthday at H&M. A little treat yo’self moment, you know? SO ridiculously comfy (holla, ankle strap!) and the unusual color pairing…you can’t go wrong.
Also, because of the title of this post…I need to get my hands on some Orange Crush soda. It just sounds too good.
